HLV VESSEL REPORT – 05th APRIL 2023

Each week Axiom EMI publishes an activity report for a basket of Heavy Lift vessels (HLV). These vessels play across the offshore oil & gas and wind markets, with a primary focus on foundation installation. Wind turbine installation vessels are notably excluded.

Axiom’s latest HLV tracker has been updated for this week, 5th April 2023. Basket utilisation decreased by two assets this week. The key updates are detailed below:

1. Svanen began transit in preparation for its job on Baltic Eagle
2. Thialf arrived at Dogger Bank A. Preparing to install substation topside
3. Balder arrived in the US GoM. Currently idle in open sea
4. Seaway Strashnov began transit to Dogger Bank A. To start monopile installation
