- Noble Stanley Lafosse completed work on Dalmatian DC90 and is now idle on Grande Isle 64, the rig remains under contract with Murphy
- West Neptune departed Blacktip on the 20th September. The rig is currently in transit to MC502, Who Dat
- Deepwater Proteus departed Appomattox on the 18th September. The rig is now on location at Rydberg, MC525
- Stena Icemax departed its anchorage on Grand Isle on 17th September. The rig is now in transit to Thunderhorse and has started its two-year contract with bp
- Ocean BlackLion moved from the Spinel prospect to Mad Dog, GC826
- Deepwater Invictus completed its contract with Murphy and is now idle on Grand Isle
- Regional rig count dropped by one rig as Santorini left for Egypt
- LLOG has contracted the Noble Valiant. The contract is expected to commence between November 2023 and March 2024 for works in the US Gulf of Mexico. The dayrate will be US$470k, excluding mobilization and managed pressure drilling costs
- Santorini completed its scope on Triton and is now leaving the US GoM
- Valaris DS-18 moved from Jack to St Malo, WR678
- Sevan Louisiana back under contract with Talos, currently located on Atwater Valley 15
- Deepwater Poseidon has moved to Walker Ridge 365 to drill the Mollerussa prospect for Shell
- Vela moved from its anchorage point on Grand Isle 61 to Winterfell GC943, and has now started its contract with Beacon Offshore
- West Neptune departed Who Dat on 16th August. The rig is currently in transit to Blacktip, AC380
- Vela completed its contract with bp and is now idle on Grand Isle 61. Soon to start its next assignment with Beacon Offshore from August 2023 to February 2024
- Sevan Louisiana left the Sunspear exploration well on the 3rd August and is now idle at South Timablier 253. The Sunspear well successfully discovered commercial quantities of oil and natural gas in July 2023.
- Santorini moved from Goldfinger MC771 to Triton MC772. The rig remains under contract with Eni
- Valaris DPS-5 started its contract with Occidental. The rig is now located at Horn Mountain MC84
- Ocean BlackHornet moved from Herschel MC520 to Thunder Horse MC822, remains with bp
- Noble Faye Kozack arrived at Buckskin KC785
- Noble Stanley Lafosse moved to Dalmatian DC90 having completed work on the Chinook #7 WR425 exploration well
- Deepwater Invictus currently located on Wildling, GC520
- Deepwater Atlas moved to Shenandoah WR51
